The electronic composition Gal made on the EMS Synthi 100 at Radio Belgrade is based on the artist’s brain wave activity during cycles of sleep. Interlaced within the electronic sound are voices reading dreams. These dreams found in historical sources were told by individuals who were subjected to various conditions of political oppression across histories and geographies.
